10 verses

hese are the 10 verses in the movie from youtube (the 'word of god speak' 1), they are in order of appearance

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken
Smitten by God and afflicted
But He was wounded for our transgressions
He was bruised for our iniquities;
the chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

John 6:40
And Jesus said to them "i am the bread of life.
He who comes to me shall never hunger,
and he who believes in me shall never thirst.

2 Corinthians 4:16-17
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly
we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being
renewed day by day.
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving
for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

John 12:46
I have come as a light into the world,
that whoever believes in me should not abide in darkness.

Luke 23;34
then Jesus said,
"Father forgive them, For they know not what they do"

Luke 9:23-24
Then he said to them all
"if anyone desires to come after Me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it,
bit whoever loses his life for my sake will save it"

John 15:12-14
This is My commandment,
that you love one another as I have loved you.
Greater lovr has no one that this,
than to lay down one's life for his friends.
you are my friends if you do whatever i command you.

Ephesians 5:1-2
therefore be imitators of God as dear children.
and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given himself for us,
an offering and a sacrifice to God for sweet-smelling aroma.

Romans 12:9-13
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil.
Cling to what is good.
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love,
in honor giving preference to one another;
not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirt,
serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope,
patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;
distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God;
that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
And do not be conformed to this world,
but be transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Shadie Hawkins Dance

this is the first vid i ever made, and so far id say its my best. lol

Mark 3:31-34

Jesus' Mother and Brothers

31Then Jesus' mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. 32A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, "Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you."
33"Who are my mother and my brothers?" he asked.

34Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! 35Whoever does God's will is my brother and sister and mother."

i liked this because it kinda high lights what ive been trying to others to understand. even if i dont know you, or have never met you, you are my brother, you are my sister, and as such ill pray for you, ill love you and hope for you. that is who i want to be. some one who loves who ever i meet, no matter who they are.

in my mad class, the class has not pulled together like last years class did. part of it can be the age spread, and the size of the group, but razz (my teacher) says she can feel a heaviness in the class, and shes write. something is going in, and its pushing the students down to the point were i dond even think they know how far down. like some of them i think joined MAD cause they thought it would be easy. uh, nah! it might not have the most credits, but its all about getting out of your comphert zone and doing something! MAD = Making A Difference, thats the point of the class. but we need to sort out whats really happening here before the class can pull together. sad, cause they are my brothers and sisters, but we (yes me included) cant pull together, so there isnt much trust.

Day 2 of new life

MARK 2:13-17
13Once again Jesus went out beside the lake. A large crowd came to him, and he began to teach them. 14As he walked along, he saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax collector's booth. "Follow me," Jesus told him, and Levi got up and followed him.
15While Jesus was having dinner at Levi's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" were eating with him and his disciples, for there were many who followed him. 16When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the "sinners" and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: "Why does he eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"

17On hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

what i like about this is the last verse. jesus said that he didnt come to save us because we were/are pure/righteous/perfect. because we arent! he came to save us because of our faults. if we didnt have faults, then there would be no point. thats what makes god to amazing.

like say that your in a hold up, and the guy next you is a murderer/rapist/pedophile, and the 'bad guy' pulls a gun and askes you to pick, you or him. who do you pick? this man is bad (i dont know if i can say evil), and most think he should die. but jesus, he would say pick me. because thats why he came. i know not every1 is all that, but we all have something that separates us from God, doesnt matter if its big or small, its there. and because its there, jesus went through with it, even though he had asked/begged God that if any1 else could do it, take the burden off him and pass it on. but he knew that there was no-one else. and even though he knew what would happen, he did it, because he came to call the sinners.
we dont deserve so much love.

Mark 2:1-12
1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately[a] many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!”

I remember we looked at this ages ago. I don’t know when, but I remember it. And some1 said how amazing this was, not just because jesus did what he did. Or the friends who had so much faith. But the man who got up when told to. He was a paraplegic. He couldn’t move. But immediately when jesus told him to stand up he did. Like, what would you do? You cant move, probly haven’t been able to for a whyie. And someone you just met that day, tells you your sins are forgiven and then tells you to get up, pick up your mattress, and walk out the door!
The fact that he did it, with out question, that he obeyed even though it might have seamed as if it was a cruel thing to ask him to do because he couldn’t, he tried. He trusted jesus enough to do that. And I think it was this that let gods power work in him. Because in every story of healing that jesus did (the ones I can remember) jesus told them to do something. Some times god will ask you to do something you might not think you could, or it might not work, or your just to scared that it wont (or sometimes that it will) that you don’t do it. Don’t even try. That’s when daily miracles die I think. I mean, I need to learn to look out for gods voice, telling me what I need to do. I know that some of it ill struggle with (like in the video below) but he is there, trying to get to us, begging us to run to him and follow him.
